Precision casting heat treatment is very much, basically the main is divided into two categories, one is the organization structure and will not change through heat treatment, the second is the basic organization structure changes.

     For the second type of heat treatment, the organization has changed significantly, and can be roughly divided into five categories.

1, softening annealing: mainly depends on decomposing carbide, reducing its hardness, while enhancing production characteristics, for ductile iron, depends on obtaining a large amount of ferrite organization.

2, normalizing treatment: to obtain pearlite and sothite organization to enhance the mechanical properties of stainless steel casting.

3, quenching treatment: mainly to obtain higher hardness or wear strength, and at the same time to the high surface wear resistance characteristics.

4, surface hardening treatment: mainly to obtain a surface hardening layer, while obtaining high surface wear resistance characteristics.

5、 Precipitation hardening treatment: mainly to obtain high strength but elongation does not produce drastic changes.
